The backbone of any successful organization is its committees and volunteers who participate as committee members. CCA is no exception. Buoyed by a strong volunteer board of twenty one, CCA’s standing committees oversee the important work of the association on a regular and planned basis.
Associate Member Committee
Associate Member Committee – serves as a liaison between this segment of the membership and the leadership of the Association by working directly with and through the Associate Member Board Member. A member of this committee also serves on the Convention Committee and the Member Services Committee. The goal is to maintain a positive partnership between the Voting Member segment of the CCA membership.
Events Committee – oversees the development and planning of CCA’s spring and fall expo events. Helps plan the various breakout sessions including selecting session topics and recruiting speakers. This committee also suggests speakers for the general sessions. Membership on this Committee is open to all CCA Members.
Government & Regulatory Committee
Government and Regulatory Committee – keeps abreast of the myriad of policy issues affecting the wireless industry and keeping members current on their status. The committee works directly with the membership and CCA Board on development and implementation of CCA positions on wireless policy issues and heads up the effort to advance those positions before governmental entities. Membership on this committee is limited to Carrier/Voting Members only.
Business Innovation Group (BIG)
Business Innovation Group
CCA’s BIG is a carrier-only working group and is charged with determining and prioritizing the top challenges facing CCA carrier members and seeking innovative, efficient, and effective solutions – both technological and practical – for competitive wireless carriers. The BIG also evaluates, designs and selects CCA’s Industry Development Programs (Programs) that aim to increase efficiency, cost savings and/or revenue opportunities for the association and its carrier members. The intent of the Programs is to support a healthy wireless ecosystem that provides solutions and creates differentiators for CCA carrier members, so they may compete in the marketplace.
