CCA Applauds the Re-nomination of Jessica Rosenworcel as FCC Commissioner

Washington, DC – June 14, 2017 – Late yesterday, the White House announced its intent to re-nominate Jessica Rosenworcel as Commissioner to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC or Commission).  Competitive Carriers Association (CCA) applauds the White House’s decision and congratulates Ms. Rosenworcel on her re-nomination.

In a statement, CCA President & CEO Steven K. Berry said, “I applaud the White House’s decision to re-nominate Jessica Rosenworcel as Commissioner to the FCC.  Ms. Rosenworcel’s experience and knowledge of issues important to competitive carriers make her an ideal candidate.  CCA shares her commitment to ensuring wireless services for all Americans, especially for consumers in rural and remote areas, and her focus on closing the homework gap will benefit all Americans.  I congratulate Jessica on her re-nomination and support her confirmation by the Senate and look forward to working with her again.”
