Six New Carriers Join CCA’s Device Hub
Las Vegas, NV – April 6, 2017 – Today, during its 2017 Mobile Carriers Show, Competitive Carriers Association (CCA) announced that Blue Wireless, East Kentucky Network, LLC (dba Appalachian Wireless), Inland Cellular, Panhandle Telecommunication Systems (dba PTCI), Pine Belt Cellular, Inc., and SI Wireless (dba MobileNation) have joined the CCA Device Hub (Hub). In partnership with Sprint, the Hub enables CCA carrier members to more efficiently and economically manage their device portfolios from end-to-end. Participating carriers have the opportunity to access an expanded range of mobile devices through Sprint, which can lower costs and improve time-to-market for the benefit of carriers and their customers.
“I am delighted Blue Wireless, Appalachian Wireless, Inland Cellular, PTCI, Pine Belt and MobileNation have joined CCA’s Device Hub,” said CCA President & CEO Steven K. Berry. “The Hub provides enormous benefits to CCA members, and especially smaller carriers that do not have the scope and scale to access the latest, most-advanced devices. At a time when everyone is looking to provide the ‘latest and greatest’ to their customers, the Hub helps pave a pathway for current and future access to advanced 4G/LTE and VoLTE devices that consumers want and demand.”
“Through the Hub, participating carriers can take advantage of aggregated buying power, as well as have access to a broader ecosystem of devices. It is a win-win for carriers and their customers, and I am very pleased so many CCA members are taking advantage of this unique solution through CCA’s Industry Development Programs.”
CCA is the nation’s leading association for competitive wireless providers and stakeholders across the United States. The licensed service area of CCA’s nearly 100 carrier members covers 95 percent of the nation.
