About Industry Development
CCA’s Industry Development Programs (IDPs) were developed to provide business solutions and partnership opportunities for the benefit of the entire CCA membership. The programs are designed to provide solutions to the top challenges identified by CCA carrier members and let associate members know of carrier members’ priorities.
CCA’s IDPs ensure that carrier members are informed and knowledgeable about the solutions associate members can deliver to help solve their most pressing industry challenges. IDPs also seek to bring new partnerships and sponsorships to the annual events to ensure new and competitive business solutions are showcased before competitive carriers and wireless stakeholders.

CCA Data Services Hub
CCA’s Data Services Hub (Hub) is an advanced 4G roaming ecosystem that supports scale, provides interoperability across multiple vendor variants and protocols, including LTE, and preserves the flexibility of operator choice.
The Hub enables competitive carriers to work cooperatively to expand and improve consumer access throughout the country, and additionally provides a single point of international interconnection for LTE and next generation data services. For smaller carriers, the Hub provides a platform to streamline roaming technology to help expand their networks to a nationwide footprint to better compete with the largest two carriers.
Hub participants are required to sign only one agreement with TNS and will have one connection to the Hub.
CCA Device Hub
CCA, Associated Carrier Group (ACG), and Sprint have collaborated to offer Device Hub services to ACG and CCA members, providing regional and smaller carriers with a one-stop solution for timely access to devices.
In an increasingly demanding device ecosystem, assisting smaller carriers in gaining access to hard-to-reach devices is crucial in maintaining a competitive environment. ACG was formed to benefit both its members and consumers by facilitating efficient production and marketing of devices. The consortium enables its members to work with manufacturers, suppliers and other vendors to quickly develop and procure scarce or difficult to obtain products through economies of scale and standardization of coding and other features. Since its inception in 2005, ACG has given its members access to 11 million devices.
CCA strongly supports ongoing efforts to assist regional carriers in gaining access to devices. The partnership continues to advance, build and leverage ACG’s buying power and, ultimately, allow for greater competition.
CCA and BuyBack Booth formed a strategic partnership to provide cellular handset trade-in programs in retail stores of CCA members. BuyBack Booth’s program includes the use of a proprietary on-phone diagnostic application and a point-of-purchase machine, which will help eliminate the various operational obstacles and financial risks of traditional trade-in processes. The program also yields higher trade-in values to consumers.
CCA has teamed with iSelectMD to offer a telemedicine solution that provides rural and urban-based customers with real-time access to a national network of board certified physicians 365 days per year for consultation and prescriptions, when appropriate.
The telemedicine or tele-doc initiative is gaining significant traction not only within the mobile industry but also across other industries due to high deductibles, over-whelming co-pays, and a shortage of primary care doctors. To compete and offer services in the mHealth space, the CCA Telemedicine solution with iSelectMD allows carriers an innovative way to facilitate hassle-free, cost-effective access to healthcare providers for their subscribers.
