Consumer Reports: USCC Ranks Second Among Full-Service Carriers

Consumer Reports recently released the results of its 2017 consumer survey on cell phone service. The survey polls their 119,772 subscribers who use prepaid or postpaid cellphones, and asks them to rank different providers on criteria such as voice and data performance, problems with the website, and the frequency of telemarketing calls.

U.S. Cellular received very strong ratings in both categories of the survey, which included cell phone plan and store ratings.

  • Plan ratings – We earned a rating of 77, the second-highest score among full-service carriers, just a tick behind T-Mobile (78). Notably, our score was significantly higher than competitors Verizon (73), AT&T (70), and Sprint (70).
  • Store ratings – We earned a rating of 80, which was the third-best overall, and the highest among carriers.

This exciting news further proves that we are winning on the front lines of the wireless industry. Let’s keep building momentum in 2018!

Please feel free to read and share the full Consumer Reports rankings.
