CCA Announces New Board Members
Washington, DC – October 9, 2018 – Last week, Competitive Carriers Association (“CCA” or “Association”) held its Annual Convention in Orlando, Florida. On Tuesday, October 2, members met and elected members of the 2018/2019 the Board of Directors.
The following individuals were elected to serve on the CCA Board of Directors for terms expiring in 2021: Tami Barron of SouthernLinc, Jay Bluhm of Sprint, Rod Boss of NTT Docomo Pacific, Scott Cohen of Nokia, Tom Cullen of DISH Network, Ed Eichler of Thumb Cellular, John Gockley of U.S. Cellular, Bill Hague of Tillman Infrastructure, David Miller of T-Mobile USA, Ben Moncrief of C Spire, Brian Spurgeon of CHAT Mobility, and Danny Parker of Velleros. The Board also elected new officers for the 2019 term: Chairman Willy Pirtle of Shentel, Vice Chairman Jay Bluhm of Sprint, Treasurer Jonathan Foxman of MTPCS, Secretary Ron Whaley of OSG Billing, Chairman Emeritus Brian Spurgeon of CHAT Mobility and President & CEO Steven K. Berry. Also elected was the Executive Committee members, which in addition to officers, includes Tami Barron of SouthernLinc, John Gockley of U.S. Cellular, David Miller of T-Mobile USA, Amy McCune of Ericsson, Ben Moncrief of C Spire, Michael Prior of ATN International, and Slayton Stewart of Carolina West Wireless.
