Pioneer Cellular Joins the CCA Device Hub
Washington, DC – June 29, 2017 – Today, Competitive Carriers Association (CCA) announced that Pioneer Cellular has joined the CCA Device Hub (Hub). In partnership with Sprint, the Hub enables CCA carrier members to more efficiently and economically manage their device portfolios from end-to-end. With Pioneer Cellular, more than a dozen carriers participate in the Hub.
“I am delighted with the growth of the Hub over the past several months,” said Steven K. Berry, President & CEO of CCA, “and I’m pleased to add Pioneer Cellular to our growing roster of participating carriers. Thirteen CCA carrier members are now actively participating in the Hub, with more carriers expected to join in the near term. Many small carriers do not have the scope and scale to access top-of-the-line devices, and through the central platform provided by the Hub, CCA carrier members can more efficiently and economically manage their device portfolios.”
“Pioneer Cellular is excited to join the CCA Device Hub to allow our customers access to a more robust lineup of device options, that will provide an improved experience to our customer base,” said Kim Grellner, Vice-President of Sales & Marketing. “Our customers expect and deserve the same opportunity as customers of larger markets, to purchase the most current devices available and by participating in the CCA Device Hub, we believe their options will improve.”
CCA is the nation’s leading association for competitive wireless providers and stakeholders across the United States. The licensed service area of CCA’s nearly 100 carrier members covers 95 percent of the nation.
