Washington, D.C. – Competitive Carriers Association President and CEO Tim Donovan made the following statement following Congress’s reinstatement of the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) spectrum auction authority. “CCA thanks Congress for reinstating the FCC’s spectrum auction authority and establishing blueprints for future spectrum auctions. This long overdue action will help meet consumer demand, remove obstacles to U.S. global leadership, and is essential to closing the digital divide for rural America.
