Washington, D.C. – Competitive Carriers Association (CCA) announces the successful passage and implementation of a change to association bylaws aimed to better represent its members business and policy priorities and to allow potential membership expansion to include a broader range of communications providers. This change, recommended by CCA’s Board of Directors, marks a strategic move to reflect the evolving communications market and enhance CCA’s advocacy and member services. The newly adopted bylaws allows any non-nationwide facilities-based provider of communications services to apply for membership.
Tim Donovan, President & CEO of CCA, said, "CCA’s members have voted to adapt their association to best reflect our current membership and set the stage for growth. We will not only continue to represent competitive wireless carriers, but support our members’ efforts to use all technological tools available to connect their communities. This change is a testament to our commitment to adapt and evolve in line with the dynamic communications landscape. By expanding our membership eligibility, we not only increase our capacity for advocacy but also ensure that we continue to provide exceptional value and support to our members. We look forward to welcoming new members and working together to advance the interests of all competitive carriers."
